Directions for use
- Take ambenonium by mouth with or without food; If stomach upset occurs, take with food to reduce stomach irritation or as directed by your doctor.
Side effects : Adverse effects of Ambenonium include those of generalized cholinergic stimulation, such as
- Salivation,
- Flushing,
- Decreased blood pressure,
- Nausea,
- Abdominal pain,
- Diarrhea, and
- Bronchospasm.

- Contraindicated if you are allergic to any ingredient in ambenoniumCl.
- Do not use AmbenoniumCl if you are taking quinine, quinidine, atropine, belladonna, ganglionic blocking agents (eg, mecamylamine), or cholinergic agents (eg, guanidine).
