Official WHO Health Days

Although there are many ‘health days’ to promote important public health issues, many of which are supported by the World Health Organization and partners, the following list represents the official WHO health days, as mandated by the World Health Assembly, that are recognized every year. WHO focuses on 7 Days & 1 Week as following :

World Antibiotic Awareness Week : 13-19 November 2017

This year, World Antibiotic Awareness Week will be held from 13 to 19 November 2017. The theme: Seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before taking antibiotics. WHO encourages countries, partners, and the public to join this campaign and help raise awareness of antibiotic resistance.
